Don't forget next Tuesday's fixture at Market Drayton Town is not guaranteed yet...

Market Drayton are in FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round action this Saturday against Gainsborough Trinity, so a replay would take precedence over our league fixture on Tuesday night, should they draw on Saturday.

So, warn your boss you may want the time off/to leave early but text them on Saturday night when you know for definite if you're going or not

For those who may not have ever seen the website, if you can't get to the matches, live non-league scores appear on the following link

Duncan Horler (remember him...) scored in the 75th minute to give Market Drayton a 1-0 victory.

Disappointed not to have got at least a draw.

A game of few chances. In my opinion some players were non-existent in the first half almost felt like Market Drayton had extra men at times.

Greatly improved after the break and we had the better play of the second half but lacked the conviction to grab that goal.
The old chestnut happened again with the least dominant team taking their chance and grabbing a winning goal.

Absence of Blakemore on the touchline again seemed to reflect in the style of play generally being played.

Roll on Saturday ... We already know how to win there!!

Agree with most of the above post. We were the better side for long periods but when you dont force the keeper into a single save in the 2nd half can we really say we deserved anything out of the game.
5 blank scoresheets over 90 minutes in the 13 games played so far is a worry to me and the loss of Deano for such a long period is going to cost us big time in my opinion. With the Ryan injury too we are left with no options whatsoever up front.
I will probably get slagged off for mentioning this again, but yet again the absence of Charlie has resulted in a defeat! Out of only 13 games played so far CB has missed 3 resulting in 2 league defeats and the exit from the FA Cup. Clearly if this continues throughout the rest of the season it is going to have a detrimental effect on our chances of competing at the top in this league. Charlie is a legend but we need him there every week or else our dream of promotion is going to remain just that. A dream!!

Agreed 150% and it has been mentioned before. We all know that CB has a fantastic job and of course his family must come first but we as fans pay our money and want to be the best and we want to win its our passion.

I dont think CB is under pressure but Turner and Sweeney are not up to it when he is not here. Its as if everything is flat and ther is very little thought in any changes they make.

We have not had a new assistant manager since Swanny steped aside and to be honest i would have Cox and Swan over Turner and Sweeney every week as i think they could motivate the players more. Turner and Sweeney do a fantastic job for the club and they should be involved just not in charge.

Does anyone know how many games last seasons winners lost as i cant find it?
I cant see it being more than 7 or 8 and with CB away for another 6 or 7 games he needs to bring in a proper assistant manager or we will be lucky to make the play offs never mind win the thing.

We were in my eyes the better side last night just a little bit weak at times but we need CB there he is the driving force that the players look up to and respect.

Good run in the trophy i hope COME ON
