Couldn't see a thread on today's game so thought I'd start one ...

Well full time score 3 - 0 ... Birch with 2 and Teesdale with a tap in.

I haven't been to all the recent games personally but today I was glad to be back watching the action first hand.

I was very impressed and some top quality performances.

If the boys can keep this up then there is real hope for the season.

I would say a man of match performance for ... Gary Birch but Dave Egan ran him close!

Well done Charlie and the boys!

Also, my best wishes go to Grant Ryan. Hope the lad isn't out for too long!

2nd good performance of the week. Best game of the season by a mile for Egan but star man again was Birchy with another quality display rounded off by another awesome strike for our 3rd.
Would have been 6 but for 3 brilliant saves from their keeper.
Hope Ryan isnt too bas as following on from the Kidsgrove game he looked a real handful again for their defence.

Two horrendous results for Leek and Rushall against Quorn and Spalding help us to close the gap at the top as well so a good day all round.

Have been in contact with Charlie...

Despite Grant's initial fears, X-rays have confirmed that Grant did not break his leg. They believe the injury to be a cartlidge injury, so it's a time of rest for our young striker and review in a week to see how he's getting on

Thanks for the update Great news that it's not a break and hope he gets better very soon. Such a promising young talent.

Definitely! It would've been so cruel after such a promising start to his time at TSG, especially since Charlie mentioned in the programme he's trying to get him on loan for the season - looks to have a good partnership with Birchy already and the two put in some great work yesterday. Potentially brilliant I think with a solid all round game. Joint MOTM nominees for me, although the team looked generally pretty good

Looked a lot like the old Chasetown is starting to remerge and there was some nice passing football. Healthy crowd once again. Onwards and upwards and hopefully another 3 points on Tuesday to further demonstrate our potential.

Hopefully Grant won't be out for too long, fingers crossed and that the other gentleman I heard about is fine.

Much much better yesterday

Did not think much of Brigg though so Tuesday will be a real test. But with Rushalls and Leeks results yesterday it just shows that the league is wide open.

Hope Grant will be back as he has been good with Birchy.
