Hope you don't mind me starting another thread like this. I don't want any bad karma lol.

A bit of history between us and our Leicestershire rivals.

2001 - 2002
Quorn (a) 2-2 Dave Langston, Jamie Purcell
QUORN (H) 2-1 Shaun Bradbury (2)

2002 - 2003
QUORN (H) 0-3
Quorn (a) 2-1 Karl Edwards (2)

2003 - 2004
Quorn (a) 3-4 Nicky Harrison, Charlie Blakemore , Lee Gough
QUORN (H) 0-1

2004 - 2005
Quorn (a) 3-1 Dave Egan (2), Steve Edwards
QUORN (H) 3-1 Karl Edwards (2), Lee Bullimore

2005 - 2006
Quorn (a) 1-1 Lee Bullimore
QUORN (H) 1-2 Danny Smith

A bit on the 2003 - 2004 game from my match report back then... (especially if you've never seen our manager play)

Chasetown weren’t despondent and equalised within a minute (43), scoring the best goal of the game. CHARLIE BLAKEMORE received the ball just outside the area, expertly brought it under control by flicking the ball over the last defender, before planting a low right footed shot, into the bottom corner of the goal, reminiscent of Paul Gascoigne’s strike v. Scotland in Euro 96. Blakemore’s goal also notched up a Chasetown milestone - the goal was the Scholars’ 500th league goal since the Midland Alliance was formed in 1994.

But, chalk and cheese...

Three minutes later (75), Chasetown were awarded a penalty of their own. Steve Ball and Charlie Blakemore combined with a ball through to Lee Gough. Gough and the goalkeeper converged on the ball at the same time with the goalkeeper just catching Gough before he reached the ball. The Referee had no hesitation pointing to the spot. After four minutes of lengthy treatment to Gough, Charlie Blakemore assumed the responsibility for the spot kick but Nurse guessed correctly, making a good save, low to his right.

I think this could develop into a nice little feature at the top of each match thread. It gives us newer fans (or at least those with nerdish tendancies) a bit of context.

...mind you, in the nicest possible way, you are surely the Lord Mayor of Nerdsville!

Well as per usual I will be doing text updates which automatically update my Twitter (leecad82) and facebook (leecad) accounts.

I know some Chasetown supporters are now following me via either or both these methods. If you can put up with my no Chasetown related ramblings on non-match days feel free to follow me.

I'll try and be a bit more descriptive with my updates (within my 140 characters Twitter limit!)

But yes, feel free to repeat my tweets or status updates on here if anyone can do

I am quite happy with "Statto"

Charlie's comment on that match was "remember it well". Me too. Goughy was down for a long while and Charlie stood on the pen spot for prob the whole 4 minutes, twirling the ball in his hands. Prob had too much time to think about the spot kick.

I will latch onto this feature if someone is going to do a regular twitter update.
I can add a module to the main site that will update with the latest twits from a chosen feed.
I have already set up an 'official' account for Chasetown on Twitter so i can give out password details to you if you are interested. Also can arrange so other people can update it if you are not attending a match. Let me know what you think.

My e-mail is stu@chasetown-fc.com so feel free to reply to me there if you dont want to discuss it here

Seems a great idea. Something akin to what Leamington have for their games, although from what you said Lee sounds as though ours could have a bit more info rather than just scorer and time.
And I like the little previous meetings intro too, sets the scene nicely (and brings a bit of nostalgia to our long term fans!)
