Ben's going nowhere. Was texting him at the weekend (I had to ask him about that miss at Kidsgrove ) and he said, "yes, Leamington did put 7 days in for me" but "I turned them down. I want to stay"

I understand, Bragoli decided to leave after being left out of the squad at Grantham.

What about Batch........with him in the starting 11 as much a usual will he be tempted? I certainly hope now........and it's good if Ben stops as well.

Can't see Ben moving......not with Jason "Haddon" being sacked last week.

Let's be fair, if the team is doing well, players are playing regularly and things are going well off the pitch, there's little point in moving football club!

Looks like Steaney will say then, would be surprised if Batch moved on as they're both established players now and it takes time to bed into a new club. Ok the higher league is a plus point, but if this team gets into gear we're certainly capable of being at Leamington's level next year, and we did beat them (albeit in a friendly) after all.

I think the fact players want to stop, and it is the longer serving players many times, shows that CB is right in his thinking.

A few have criticised the likes of JB and Egan, and I think totally unfairly. Players like these, Horler, Slater, Ben etc have been at the club for a while, and are here for the right reasons. We have seen those come and go who came for the money, and when they didn't play for a week they wanted to go. Look at Adie........paid for 2 yrs whilst injured and not playing, then wants the club to wave the 7 days so he can move. Where is the loyalty to the club who have paid him?

We now have a good group at the club, and I can see signs of a togetherness in the team that has been missing some times this season. Last night, the lads put on a great performance and were encouraged by the fans. I just hope we can retain the players we now have who want to stop at the club.

if they think they can do better at other clubs let em go i only want to go and watch players who are 100% commited to our club !
what the players have to understand is that we are in a new league with new teams and we have suffered alot of injuries we are only 5 points behind the leaders cb gets a team together then we suffer injuries so he has to change the team .still a long way to go but i think we will be there
look what we have achieved in the last few years why leave ha ha !
