Good morrning campers!

Let's get straight down to business.

Matters Arising

1. The Opposition.

Your report please Mr Scholar1985.

2. The Weather.

The proposal is "Rain, rain go away, come again another day." Do we have somebody to second that?

3. The Pitch.

Can somebody pop round and make sure Bob is out of bed and wring his sponge out for him.

Any Other Business

1. Can somebody ring The Junction and tell Ingy we actually WANT him to light the fire today.

lol liking it Billy

Well it's not raining in Lichfield at the moment, although it feels as though it could arrive at any point. Thought it might be here by now so perhaps we're going to be lucky.

Just checked the BBC weather and it's showing heavy blanket rain from midday onwards, getting heavier by kick off time.

Should be ok for the game but we'll have to wait and see.

Sounds like a classic comeback at The Scholars Ground today ...

It finished Chasetown 4 - 3 Goole ... after being 1 - 3 down!

And today's moral...

Cheats never prosper...

Time-wasting by the Goole goalkeeper = 4 minutes of stoppage time.

Number 5 faking a head injury led to a bit more time added on.

Amazing comeback. We looked dead and buried at 1-3. I was going to joke with my fellow supporters that the last time I got this wet watching Chasetown we won 4-3 (remember Cogenhoe folks?)

Mark Branch, Port Vale-esque free kick back to 2-3.
Teesdale through a crowded goalmouth for 3-3, and, to be honest, we were too busy celebrating the 4-3 winner going in to care who had scored it lol.

What a come back! Can't be too objective at the moment (beer 'n' that).

Funniest sight of the night - watching Norris chase his brother-in-law round the stand after the 4th went in

OMG OMG OMG WHAT A GAME!!!So glad I finally managed to get to a game, and what a game. at 3-1 down I was not happy, vey wet. cold and about drive 3hrs home after seeing the team loose, but then what a comeback, I would have gladly taken the 3-3 draw and been very happy with that, but to win 4-3 was just fantastic!!! not been to many games this season but I do manage to pick them LOL still on a high now!!!! and thats after 3hrs driving in dreadful weather
