Any danger of match postponement and the like? It's a long way for a lonely hopper to come, even if the tv schedules are forcing me out the door

I'm pretty sure the jungle drums would have been beating by now if there was any danger of a postponement Meles.
Apart from one hell of a frost this morning to welcome in December, it's been quite nice today. A bit cold, but not frozen pitch cold

Full Time Chasetown 2 - 0 Willenhall Town

Solid performance and solid win for the Scholars, both goals courtesy of Styche as Chasetown keep on moving up.

Roll on Rushall...

Not sure if Rushall will be on looking at the pitch at the end of the match. If frost gets to it and it continues to rain (as forecasted) we could be in trouble with a postponement.

Not a bad performance, on a wet and difficult surface. Thought Egan had a solid game in the middle and did well with Horler. We looked good when the ball was played on the surface and passed wide.

Don't think we used set pieces well enough tonight. Delivery from Ben and Branchy not as good as normal, and we should of took advantage from corners as they didn't put any men on the post (I don't count Umpa Lumpas )

2 good goals from Reece, but the game should of been over 1st half. I really like him as a player and think he is a great signing, but

a) I never like to see a player hit the ground pretending to be hit. Lucky not to get a yellow for that.

b) We had atleast 6 occassions where a squared ball from Reece would of left Birchy/Ben/Egan with an open net. Too greedy on the ball sometimes and should take the less selfish option.

I think with these 2 aspects addressed Reece can be a great player for us as he is a natural goal scorer and I do like his strong minded attitude upfront. Never seen a number 4 bullied by a centre forward so much.

A good result all in all, and games like this are never a given. Willlenhall never looked like scoring and do look limited in that department, but it didn't look like a typical top (ish) vs bottom match.

MOM for me was Egan.......we certainly look a strong unit with him and Horler in there.
