Afternoon to you all on another FA Cup weekend. This is Chasetown's first league encounter since the 12th December but some punishing training and a good warm up againist Pelsall in midweek should see the Scholars firing on all cylinders.

No doubt they'll have to be againist a side that Ben Steane called 'the best we've played against' this season but it's imperative we start well and continue the excellent form the lads have shown.

With all games in the Unibond South ON today, I'll also put scores up from teams around us in the league. Should be an exciting afternoon!

An absence of goals or an absence of updates...not sure which but not heard or seen anything so far.

Only other goal I know of in the league so far is that Sheffied are beating Goole 1-0 at home. No real surprise there.

Half an hour or so to go though, so plenty of time for the Scholars to find that elusive second goal.

Sheffield winning 3-0 and Belper have just equalized too, 1-1.

Can't be much more than 10 minutes to go and that could be a huge, huge goal in the context of the season.
