Player sponsorship

Is there any news on the latest player sponsorship progress??

We're two home games into the season and there is a "player sponsorship page to follow shortly" in the match day programme.

If it's due to a lack of sponsors so far - can I ask why it is now only advertised on the sponsorship page in the programme. Especially as not everyone buys a matchday programme!

On page 17 of Saturday's programme there were adverts for player sponsorship, matchball sponsorship, match sponsorship, advertising boards, programme adverts and mascot.

Yet on the sponsorship page on this site the player sponsorship is omitted?

I am glad to be contributing to the players kit but the sponsor is supposed to be getting out of it:

- appear in each matchday programme
- appear on the players profile on the website (which I see a space has been allocated for)
- signed photograph with the player

I wonder if the sponsorship was sorted and visible whether it may encourage others sponsors to come forward as they will be able to see what they are getting out of it.

Totally agree with this post. I know of myself and 3 others who have sponsored players for this season and are still waiting to see a mention of our names in either the programme or on the website.

I also agree that it is hardly encouraging any potential sponsors to come forward at present. Dont know what the reasoning is for not having a page in the programme like last year, but if its down to lack of numbers so far then that isnt a good enough reason. Lincoln only had 4 players sponsored and yet they had a total page dedicated to player sponsorship!!

Know its still early days but lets hope for the next home game in a weeks time that something will have been done about it.

I have been given very limited information about the sponsors (which have now been added to each of the players individual profiles)
If i have made any mistakes, or there is any more information that you would like adding, especially for businesses, please let me know.
