Good win in the sunshine yesterday for The Scholars.

Some quality finishes to tie up the 4 - 0 win.

Really looking forward to spoiling Mickleover's promotion party on Tuesday night!! COYS!!

Should be a cracker.

By my calculations, if we win, Belper and Witton won't be able to catch us anymore.

So, unless we lose our last 4 after Tuesday and Leek win their last 3, by a goal difference of 20 goals we're guaranteed a play-off place by beating Mickleover.

Of course, a Mickleover draw or victory and they are Champions. Should say one thing though on that subject - IF Mickleover do win the title on Tuesday, I hope our supporters stay long enough to see the trophy lifted. The P.A. always talks about respect to the opposition

Four coaches coming on Tuesday so it was announced... That's approx 200 oppo fans in the ground then... Bring it on!!

It was a very good performance, especially in the first half with some excellent passing football. Shame that we went off the boil for most of the second, but to be fair with our backlog of fixtures I really can't blame the lads for taking it a bit easier for the final half hour or so - made sense when the game was already over.

I think we're now resigned to Mickleover winning the league now, if we weren't already, but even so it'd be lovely to really outplay them for 3 points on Tuesday and put their champagne on ice. To be fair though, a win might give them the jitters and if they were to draw at Quorn for example, it could still come down to the final day if we keep up our winning streak non?

Well done once again lads and roll on Tuesday!
