Chasetown FC's Dave Egan has admitted he hopes he won’t be able to win his place back in the team straight away when he returns from suspension.
A red card towards the end of last season means that the influentional midfielder will be absent for the first three games of this term.
And with the Scholars starting against Bradford Park Avenue tomorrow (August 21), Egan admits he’ll be disappointed to miss out, but is hopeful the rest of his team-mates get off to a winning start and make it impossible for manager Charlie Blakemore to drop them.
