Time to moblise the Blue Army people - spread the word and gets those votes in!


EVOSTIK FACILITIES MAKEOVER COMPETITION

When the League’s new sponsors announced a competition for one member club to win £10,000 in vouchers towards improving their facilities they unearthed a latent talent within clubs who had to submit a film clip of their proposals.

The judges have now deliberated and are delighted to announce the five finalists for the Evo-Stik League Facilities Makeover competition. A total of 14 entries were received for the competition and the standard achieved was fantastic. The Sponsors hope that even those clubs not progressing to the next stage will cherish the material they produced as every entry was something to be proud of.

The five Finalists (in alphabetical order) are -

Buxton

CHASETOWN

Lancaster City

Rushall Olympic

Stamford

These clubs now go through to the next stage of the competition and are one step closer to winning the prize – a £10,000 Travis Perkins voucher to help improve club facilities.

A competition voting web page will go live on 18th October. The club with the most votes on 15th November will be deemed the most deserving and will be announced the winner.

Would be a boost to the club, this needs to be all over Facebook etc to get the votes coming in

That has 18,000 members, so fingers crossed some of those will do as they are told and vote for us lol

We have to compensate for the fact that although we get higher attendances, Buxton and Lancaster are larger towns and might be able to drum up larger local support than we can...

I've now written on the Dungannon Swifts wall on facebook, as we made a few friends there when we played them in a pre-season friendly. So, that's another 1600 people who will find out about the competition

We may well have to invite them back to The Scholars for a re-match some season if they help us out.
