Good Evening All,

Not sure if anyone was due to do updates tonight so I thought I'd hang around and step in if required.
From Charlie's interview on the Lichfield Blog, he reckons tonight will be a tough test for the Scholars, and with the oldest football club in the world having picked up a respectable 4 points from 3 games, and an away win on Saturday he might just be right.
Certainly our defence will have to be tighter after a shaky performance at the weekend, especially if Sheffield's physical prowess comes to the fore (one aspect of our game I feel we needed to work on from last season)

Some team news from the ever-dependable Leecad, and a return for John Branch that I'm sure will please many of us (no disrespect to Ollie)

Some early encouraging action for Chasetown, with Ben Steane first forcing the Club goalkeeper into a good save from a free kick, and just after the quarter of an hour mark his penalty appeals are waved away after he went down.
