TWO POINTS DROPPED. 1 Year, 4 Months ago
ok it was the 1st game of the new year, but ferriby were pretty average and there for the taking,so in my opinion thats points dropped. oh and where was the penalty taker when needed ?. still sat on the bench keeping it warm, what a waste.

we should have been at least 2 up in the first 20minutes. the first half we were linking play brilliantly n i thought that it could be a rout. but then they scored n for me that killed us a bit, and actually our penalty taker is usually deano.. or birchy. but i'd like to say that our defence has been a liability this season, in the past our defence has been our strength, but our defenders are making many errors and without price having a good season, we wouldnt be where we are
hopefully 3 points on monday!!

deano was replaced by danny, and i think that danny wanted to take it cause he won it.

Gary Birch missed a penalty in our last league game v Ashton. So, I expect that was why Gary didn't take it.

Richard Davies took our last penalty at Kettering, and missed that.

So, with Grant Ryan (who scored our last penalty) on the bench still, Danny (who has scored plenty of penalties before) took repsonsibility. Charlie isn't going to bring Grant on just to take the penalty

Thats nice and all that ,but a bad move to let a player take a penno after just having his legs sawn off.It often ends in failure .

In all the years I've watched football, I've always thought it was a bad move for the fouled to take the penalty.

But, that said, the key thing with a penalty taker is the confidence to take it, and Danny has that in abundance which is why he wanted to take it.

At the end of the day if you were the gaffer ,with the game so tight, would you want a player taking a penalty who has just been chopped. I think your answer would be No .And in all my years of watching football id have to agree with you .
