Having just been on the Grimsby fans forum and read their patronising, arrogant and derogatory comments about Chasetown i really hope we manage to get the win.
Am sure the lads will be up for this one and if Grimsby take it lightly then we have a chance. Will go for a 1-0 win.

I read the posts with interest but as you would imagine as a Grimsby fan I don't really agree. Even after a couple of poor results and a manager that few of our fans really care for at the moment I can't see you winning. I can assure you Chasetown will not be underestimated but I would be disappointed if there wasn't at least a two goal margin in the Mariners favour. Our club is in a state at the moment but I really expect us to be too strong.

I will be coming down to the game along with a few hundred more that will hopefully have a novelty but winning day out.

Superb! Won £16 due to this result and from the half time report on Radio WM I heard in the Sutton clubhouse that Chasetown were "by far the better team".

Grimsby were in League Two last season so there isn't a stronger team to face in the FA Trophy is there? Think Chasetown's name is on the cup ... now where are the odds for the outright win?

SUPERB!!!! 2-1 and no one can deny we were the better team for 99% of the game. A deserved win - well done chasetown and good luck with the draw on Monday!

got it right for once, a pretty much deserved win. I actually told my cousin yesterday that i will run round london screaming if we win =/ meh wished i didnt say now haha.

The disallowed goal, i dont know what was wrong with it, they were all over us then the other way round. Our second goal i dont know what was wrong with it as i was too busy celebrating to realise if there was a foul in it or not.
But great finish with both goals especially birch goal. Lucky didnt win by more, but at the end lucky we didnt draw 2-2 xD
