Great Win 1 Year, 4 Months ago
Great win today for the scholars! nervous and tense towards the end but great win.

personally thought davies and danny smith were the top performers.

just a query .... why was matt cohen and dean perrow subbing ??? just want to know what you scholars think and your opinions ???

i thought davies was terrific aswell as danny, they all played there part.but about cohen n deano being subs, at first i was struggling to come to terms with it at first, as the games i have seen jimmy turner play.. he was poor. and i would of thought deano would start, but jimmy had a great game today, did well defencivley and set up birchy for his header that crashed of the bar. gary hay did well, still feel he could challenge for the ball more in the air but like i said, they all played there part

Congratulations on a great win today. from a bitterly disappointed AFC Wimbledon fan. I had hoped this might be the year when our two clubs might have met in the F.A. Trophy, but another inept performance from us put paid to that, for another season at least. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Great result and performance. I believe the game was being filmed, probably by Grimsby for their web player. Can someone at the club get in touch with their counterparts so that we can have access to it, so that it doesn't disappear into the ether with the Cogenhoe, Blyth, Cambridge, Bath & Vale footage (i've got MOTD's Oldham coverage)

Well done lads, another great scalp and another fantastic day. We were the better side and there was nothing lucky about the win. I think this is what made yesterday different to other great wins because we looked better and were unlucky with missed chances and hitting the woodwork.

On a side note, after 5 missed pens in a row, can we get our lucky mascot of the blind multi marathon runner to take the next one, it will give us more chance of getting a goal.

Greetings all, I was up there for the win against Grimsby - what a fantastic result! Thoroughly deserved I might add. You seem like you need to work on penalty taking however! It was so good that you scored straight away after that though - it was a really fantastic day and myself and two other ccfc fans were warmly welcomed as always - really enjoy coming up there - you may have see the ccfc flag behind the goal. Anyway, should we lose tomorrow night against Stoke in the cup, we will have a free Saturday and there is talk of the club running a supporters coach up for your game that day which would be fantastic - good luck in the draw tonight and come on you scholars!

we as a club are grateful for your support, coming all that way to come and support us is real dedication and you deserve the warm welcome you get! i for one didnt see you guys but i saw the flag and im really pleased that we have formed a partnership. one day in the future we hope us chasetown fans can go to cardiff one day to see a game, to return the favour, i obviously hope you win tomorow but if you dont we will all be privileged and honoured for you too bring a supporters coach to our fixture, it will add to the atmosphere and hopefully make our vocal loud enough so the players feel like there at home (like atherstone away in play off's). our game onthe 29th is away isnt it? and again thankyou for coming saturday, i have the up most respect for you
