Without wishing to sound patronising, it is refreshing to see an opposition forum that hasn't resorted to the usual "Chase-village" or "Chav-town" sniping that a lot of the so-called "Bigger" clubs often do before and after we turn them over.

The Spitfire fans seem to think their team stuttered today. They would know better than me. However, it was a great day out and I for one would like to thank them for their hospitality.

You lot did yourselves proud yesterday. Yes, we didn't play well, but Chasetown were superb, never gave up and went after everything. I thought your manager was great, encouraged the players from start to finish. Your players were courteous and even apologised to me when I got hit very hard by the ball! Your fans were great, really vocal.
Well done Chasetown, I hope you go on to win the Trophy.

I would like to echo the above comments re' friendly Eastleigh crowd It makes me proud to support a non-league club. The players and supporters were superb. We had a great day out. Bring on the next round- at home hopefully!
