I'd still like to thank everyone at Chasetown for all their hard work to try and get this game on. I imagine it's highly frustrating for everyone at the club. Unfortunately, if this game is moved to mid week, I'm very unlikely to be able to make it so if I do miss the tie, I hope Chasetown get the result and kick on to Wembley!

tbf we new it was going to rain prior to the game, i've thought this for a long time why not invest in some blankets to cover the pitch? put the blankets on over night then im sure that if these things happen the game we'll be able to go ahead, many fans wont be able to go on tuesday n the tickets are'nt refundable and that just isnt fair, im sure everyone tried there best getting the pitch good enough for playing conditions but its just the simplest of things that can make the game go ahead

we obviously wont be able to get the proper stuff, but in collis's there are big blankets for not that much, surely its something we could try, or at least some protection for the goal mouth area's and centre pitch (i have noticed they do that sometimes), were now going to be playing every saturday n tuesday for the rest of the season, the evo stik's committee is a joke. should of extended the league by 2weeks at least

Don't beat yourselves up too much lads, Field Mill is diabolical at the moment and needs a lot of TLC and money spending on the pitch. Let's hope that Tuesday is on!

I have 2 points to make:
Why couldn't we just stitch Lamby's flags together to cover the pitch
&
Why does it matter if the pitch is waterlogged?? Its not as if we ever play the ball on the grass..is it??

plus i've seen us play on waterlogged pitches before, very very bad pitches, and this is a big game. dont see why its been called off.
