Ossett Town v Chasetown 1 Year, 2 Months ago
Well a good result if not a little unconvincing...but 3 points is what we went for.

Price 8/10 - some good saves
J Branch 7/10 - a little rusty but never shirked a challenge
M Branch 6/10 - not the greatest delivery today
Cohen 7/10 - Strong in the air
Teesdale 7/10 - Strong & vocal
Stephens 7/10 - busy & caused a few problems
Abbott 6/10 - poor delivery but took goal well
Parsons 6/10 - never really got control of the midfield
Jevons 5/10 - struggled to get in the game
Birch 9/10 - led the line well back to something near his best *MOM*
Perrow 7/10 - looked sharp & finished goal well before hamstring injury

McGoldrick (for Perrow) 4/10 - have been better debuts but will surely improve. Replaced by Smith
Bridgewater (for Jevons) 5/10 - created little
Smith (for McGoldrick) 7/10 - came role but looked dangerous

Great to see Birchy back to something near his best in time for Tuesday & hope Deano's hamstring is ok. Jevo looked to also have picked up a knock.

Lets hope for a better performance Tuesday but the same result would do!!!

Daniel Lloyd-McGoldrick did okay I felt, considering he was hacked down from behind on 3 occasions at least!

Branch M just back from long injury give him a chance
Abbott still finding his place
Jevons scored first goal, put ball thru for Perrows goal, took bad knock, stayed strong till half time
McGoldrick hacked down almost everytime he got the ball, also took a bad knock

I think you must have been watching a different game to us- positive encouragement required, not negative opinions

Good luck to the boys for Tuesday

Mark Branch I agree but we need players "on" their game Tuesday.

Abbott the jury is out. Is he really better than what we already have?

Jevo is normally top drawer..just feel he is running on empty (I hope I'm wrong)

McGoldrick?? I've watched enough football at Chasetown to know he won't be around by the time trophies are presented at Bescot ... you heard it here 1st!!

You want positive??? Birchy is BACK!!! "He's big he's round he scores at every ground"

Football (my dear) is a game of opinions

Positive to the team not one player- Danny Smith was superb today made the difference when he came on - difference to the TEAM effort - lets get behind all the team with encouragement - (oh and also I am not your dear - rather patronising)
