Great Performance by the lads....The best team for the 1st half....robbed of a penalty when the GK took out Danny Smith...The ref looked like he was going to give it but after a glance to his Asst seemed to "bottle" it....then cheated for their 2nd goal....Asst flagged for offside only to get overuled by the bloody ref!!!

totally agree, great performance. first 30mins we were all over them, really needed to score when we had the upper hand but its been a great journey hopefully a 500+ crowd on thursday

absolutely agree if the ref knew the offside rule and disallowed that goal the momentum would have stayed with chase. we'll meet them again and do em lol

Gutted not to be there tonight because of work,as i wont be there thursday again because of work by the sounds of it on wm the lads did us proud,they said the 2nd goal was offside straight away and they thought the linesman gave it straight away and thats why the referee went over to him to discuss so we were all gobsmacked when he awarded the goal,that decision knocked the stuffing out of the scholars tbh,im still proud of them though and will be there next tuesday against northwich all though the lads will be running on empty after 5 games in 10 days phew!but i know the lads will give 100% every match.like earlier posts im impressed by the 525 following but i bet we wont get that on thursday which is a shame where do they all go!! anyway up the scholars and hopefully another 3 pts in the bag on thursday!!

I agree. 525 my arse, there was clearly over 800 there, I would suggest over 850.

They were running out of food 30 mins before kick off, and if you want a hot drink you had to wait 15 mins for the kettle to boil

I think Mansfield deserved the win over the 2 legs. But......God awful ref again who was very much a homer. Stone wall pen turned down and then the linesman ignored for their 2nd goal.

We were certainly the better side 1st half without creating enough chances. But with a pen and their 2nd goal disallowed the game could have been very different.

My money is on a Darlington/Luton final.

There was never 800, 500 about right, fair play to the fans that made the trip.
Imo it was never a penalty, was right in front of it and after the shocking performance we put out last night i would be the first one to admit it was a penalty. Haven't a clue what happened for our 2nd goal.

We deserved to be 3 down at least by the break. Were very lucky to be through.
