from now too the end of the season i think we should play this formation.
paul told me on facebook that we have'nt played this all season until burscough last saturday, which came to a shock as it has worked very well for us in past seasons. 2 clean sheets in our last 2 games which to me shows we are more suited with playing 3 centre backs, and it also gives freedom for the branch's to go forward and support the midfield 3. on tuesday i thought we looked better defencively than in recent weeks and im sure its down to the formation change.. thoughts

after this afternoons and tuesdays performance this is not the formation 5 3 2 to push ourselves forwards,since we introduced this formation at home we have created hardly any chances and looked vulnerable at the back,in fact we could have lost the last 2 games with whitby hitting the post twice and a good save to come to our rescue ,the goalies of both northwich and whitby have been better tested probably in there warm ups thats how shocking we have been.the question is why now change the formation after a good first season in this division we created chances nearly every home game and not getting pressure from our home fans which was not the case in the last 2 home games.hopefully charlie will see the error of his ways before halifax on tuesday or we could get a good hiding which would have a bad effect on the rest of the season.rant over up the scholars

vulnerable at the back? we kept 2 clean sheets. and northwich hardly created a decent chance. we conceded around 16goals in 6 games until we changed to 5-3-2. we were on a poor run off form, charlie new that and changed the formation. today we were poor. we have hardly got any attacking options. 2 fit strikers, we missed egan and deano badly today. charlie should of brought bones on earlier, ref was a complete joke again. onto halifax tuesday. if we win todays result wont matter. if we draw, not all is lost, if we lose? play off race might just be over. thankfully results went our way today, but this was one of the 'easiest' games we have left, so its dissapointing we only got a point, and to be honest, a lucky point
