TOPIC: Injury list!!!

Injury list!!! 2 Years, 8 Months ago
What with the news that Greenway who I never rated and the somewhat unfortunate Harry Harris have left the club, is there any news on the impending returns of Price and Miller. Two players who I believe we need back sooner rather than later.

I know Taylor has played well of late, but surely Ryan he needs to be back in the team as soon as possible if we are serious about winning the league this season, we all saw what happened with leamington last season and I would of thought Charlie wouldn't want a repeat of this if Ryan is number 1 he should play I would of thought?!

Also re Ross, I saw him warming up on Saturday and just wondered whether he had been omitted from the squad? as he seemed to to be running fine, no disrespect to John Branch who I believe has been a loyal servant over the years ( who will forget his giant performances in the F.A cup against vale) but after seeing Ross play out on the right in preseason, I feel he gives us more of an attacking threat with his pace as well as being able to defend having been played there at times since his arrival.

One positive that I would agree with from the previous thread is the return of batchelor on Saturday, he was terrific when he finally got on, maybe had he been on earlier we would of snatched all three ponts.

For me, we need Batch, Price, Miller and Milligan starting in every league game. Milligan can pass the ball well, Batch breaks play up and holds the midfield together. Think Ross will bring some pace and consistancy to the defence.

Harris is a loss, but to be fair he has waited and been dropped a few times, and he hasn't jumped ship straight away like Marshall and Greenway, 2 plays in my opinion who came for all the wrong reasons.

Ross was having further treatment when I went for my weigh-in on Saturday afternoon, so I don't believe he's 100% right yet.

Ryan Price has returned to fitness, as far as I am aware, though I would assume, Taylor kept his place on Saturday as he kept a clean sheet at Willenhall - and, perhaps as Taylor also kept a clean sheet against Stamford, he'll perhaps keep his place again.

It's very difficult to keep all players happy, I should think.

But, dropping a keeper after two clean sheets would be very difficult to do, regardless of who Charlie/us as supporters thinks may/may not be the better keeper...
